The Ring Boxing Club
More than a 100 years old, The Ring Boxing Club opened on 14 May 1910 on the grounds of a former chapel. Back in the day it held fights on a regular basis, over 22,000 in total according to the record books. The gym was destroyed by an air raid during World War II and eventually reopened in 2003 as a modern, state-of-the-art fitness complex. The Ring is now home to one of the most successful training hubs in London and is famous for hosting its own White Collar Bouts. You may have even recognised the building from film shoots and private functions including current heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua.

Miguel’s Boxing and Fitness Gym
You can find Miguel’s boxing gym beneath the railway arches and within a two-minute walk from Loughborough Junction station. Thanks to a recent refurbishment, the venue has ow doubled in size enabling boxing and fitness enthusiasts to take advantage of the four open plan spaces over two floors. Fitzroy Lodge Boxing Club
As one of London’s oldest sports gyms to date Fitzroy Lodge has strong ties with both British amateur and professional boxing. It is here that fighters have practised their craft for over 100 years, some of those going on to unprecedented heights, such as former heavyweight champion David Haye. Despite the original building being damaged during the war Fitzroy Lodge was refurbished inits new location of Lambeth Road and the training for boxing resumed as usual. Islington Boxing Club
Islington Boxing Club, which is located beside Elthorne Park, was erected in 1974. The interior pays homage to the fighters of old and is graced with clippings and posters of former champions and contenders who trained here.
