The Cubs and Indians Are in a Drone Delay, Because It Is 2020 (UPDATE: Back in Action)

What do you even say? The Indians were just waved off the field as the Cubs were batting in the bottom of the 5th inning because of the appearance of a drone flying over Wrigley Field.

This is really happening:

You may insert your preferred Trevor Bauer and/or Houston Astros joke here.

UPDATE: After an official 7 minute and 10 second delay, the game has resumed. No word on whether the drone was simply landed by its owner, or if, more exotically, Willson Contreras gunned it down:

Don’t fly on Willson.
